| I am pretty reticent to say anything because I will be tagged as an "Old Fart." I have been a "Star Wars" fan ever since its birth in 1977. All these extras and perks that come about are superfluous. All they do is increase the fan base. The die-hard fans are just into the six movies. The provenance does not have to extend beyond that to keep the majority of fans happy. Realistically, the Star Wars franchise will go on forever, but the true Science Fiction fans will know when enough is enough. True quality Science Fiction books and movies were a scarce commodity in the '60's and '70's. If you are a true fan, you will not need to have the terms Science Fiction and Sci-Fi explained to you. Not that this pertainsto this post, but................'Nuff said!! |

| So few Star Wars fans? There has to be plenty of them out there. I love Star Wars and i do have to agree i prefer the first trilogy to the new ones. But I'm getting pumped for Clone Wars myself. As for the question; I can't really follow one side. I follow the way of the Jedi but can't stand the council like Qui-Gon Jin. |

How can you not like Qui-Gon Serinoke? He is such a badass in episode one. I like him because he does what he has to do regardless of what the council tells him. He is a rebel, but a good guy as well.
Darth Maul is awesome though. That double-bladed saber is the coolest lightsaber! |

| Sorry Serinoke, but I've gotta explain what a lightwhip is if you guys are unfamiliar with it! Several characters have wielded lightwhips, but my favorites are Lumiya and Silri, mainly cuz they're on the dark side! A lightwhip is kinda like a lightsaber, it emits energy only it's really flexible and moves just like a regular whip. To answer your question~ Empire of course! |
